Do You Think That This Modern Era Sucks?

I do in every single way. Let’s start out with parenting. Parent’s now a days are either over protective or they don’t care what there kids do. In history classes parents are complaning about how we are teaching children about war. Aren’t we suppose to learn from are mistakes instead of covering them up and repeating them. Violence in the world is out there and natural so stop trying to hide it and just admit it is out there instead of trying to baby there kids. Parent’s are afraid of kids learning survivle skills such as how to start a fire because they are afraid there kids are going to burn stuff up. If you really think they are going to do that then thats your problem with your parenting not who is teaching your kids to make a camp fire. Parent’s are afraid of exposing there kids to foul language. You do realize that your kids are going to hear more then you can imagine once they get in to school, you should teach them not to saythose words and that they are wrong, not try to elimnate them from your childs life because in this modern world, thats impossible. And really, why do we need rating boards out there? Shouldn’t parents be able to decide whats appropriate and whats not for there children to view, not some house wives who watch Dr.Phil all day.

Ok, and second music. What ever happened to Simon and Garfunkel? All music is now is about Violence, Sex and Drugs. All people do is use Auto-tune to cover up there crappy voices and use a bunch of crappy drum loops. I seriously hate Jay-Z for destroying forever young. I seriously don’t evn consider modern pop and rap music.

And lastely, Video games. All video games are now are just FPS that revolve around sitting in a corner and shooting everything that moves. What happened to the N64 with a variety of games that were actually… Fun. Is it so wrong to like single player games? I mean Modern Warfare 2… seriously. That game online blows and revolves around camping and nothing but pointing and shooting. I’ll stick to Ocarina of Time… thank you.
