a song that just makes you float back to a better time, even if only for a momment? For me its ‘The suffering’ by coheed and cambria. Every time i here it i can remember last summer, we went to a family friends house, and we (the teens) decided to split off and do something fun, so me (16) family friend’s brothers daughter (16?) her boyfriend (17) and the friends dauthers sister (14) go in a truck, and reclasely took off. We ended up at a couple places, and then the lake, where we got out, and talked for a while, and got our feet wet. The sun was going down and that amazing sun on water effect was happening. It was the perfect summer day. We decided, fully clothed just to jump in. We had fun, and then went back home. Of course our parents freaked out on us for leaving, and then for diving in the lake, but it was fun and we didn’t care. That night, we hung out around a camp fire, and went our sepperate ways, but that day was the best i’ve had in a while, and that song reminds me of it
i have know idea why that song reminds me of that day, but it does. I think it might be because we had hung out earlier in the day, and listened to a lot of music like that, and coheed was one of my new most favorite bands.
