2008 polaris sportsman touring skips sometimes?
Posted by: | CommentsI own a 2008 polaris sportsman 800 E.F.I touring edition. It will occasionally run very sick skipping and acting like it is not receiving gas. What all could be causing this? If i could i would like to narrow it down to the main things instead of spending a lot of money replacing several little things. The four-wheeler will seem to run fine for most of the day. Until i shut it off then it starts skipping but if i turn it off and on several times seems to help for a little.

I just bought it used and have ZERO info on it. Like how old it is? It looks old. It has engraved ducks on one side and dogs on the other.
Its not rusted..looks well cared for. Some of the color has rubbed off the barrel in spots but other then that its really smooth and clean.
and is it an ok gun to learn to shoot with? reliable? Well built?

polaris sportsman at altitude?I don’t own one but the buddy I go out atving with says he has to shut it off,, It waste a lot of time by waiting for it cool.. I tell him he doesn’t need to turn it off but he thinks he does and doesn’t lissen so what do you guys think explain why below “Below why if he does or does not”
